Adult Protective Service (APS) Caseworkers employed by APS agencies
Care Coordinators employed by Care Coordination Units
Homecare Supervisors employed by CCP In-Home Service Providers
IDoA is available to provide consultation and/or training on issues related to abuse, neglect and exploitation of persons ages 60 and older and persons with disabilities ages 18-59. Please contact Aging.firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
IDoA also provides educational tools for our provider agencies and the Aging Network. The trainings when provided live, may offer continuing education credits for the following: Nursing Home Administrators, Licensed Social/Clinical Social Workers, Clinical/Professional Counselors and Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Professional Nurses. Ethics of Guardianship

Lowy, J.D., Program Director of the Illinois Office of State Guardian with the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission will examine the duties of a guardian and the limitations of the guardian's authority. Included in the discussion will be current legislation affecting the roles a guardian can and cannot play.
